The OPT application window
You can apply for OPT up to 90 days before graduation and no later than 60 days after. USCIS processing takes up to 90 days, so file as early as possible.
For STEM OPT, you must apply before your OPT EAD expires and must be employed by an E-Verify employer. DueVisa tracks both deadlines separately.
